What are your irrational fears?
Submitted by Dan Culhane.
The fear that I'll wake up one day with the realization that I've wasted my life being phony and doing things that I hate because I was dumb enough to let other people convince me that I should be a good little girl and follow the social norms.
List five reasons (at least) why you are awesome.

1. I'm very easily amused, which means it takes very little and costs virtually nothing to make me happy.
2. I'm a storyteller.
3. I absolutely do not allow other people's opinions to pressure me out of staying true to what I believe. I let them attempt opening remarks, spirited debate and closing arguments as is the fair and just thing to do, but in the end the decision is always mine.
4. I'm existential, which means I take responsibility for everything that happens in my life, and I'm willing to do what's necessary to be happy, even if it means working hard or traveling far.
5. I am a dreamer.
What are some ways you save money?

- not going on Ebay (this is a BIG one, this helped a LOT)
- not driving past the Taco Bell at the mall when I leave my night job
- eating things whose ingredients are really cheap, like pasta or rice
- not shopping at 7-11 (it's total highway robbery there)
- Talking to Cloudy, who knows about these things
- Reminding myself that in order to get home and get all my paws and rudder back under me, I need to save money.
If you could get everyone in the world to change their behavior in one way, what would you have them do differently?

I would have them be courteous, always, even when they didn't like people.
What experience or moment in your life have you learned the most from?

This one--moving three hundred miles away from my home and the rest of my family. I plan to move back to the city in the spring, but to a place of my own, not back to my father's house. I've learned how to live on very little income, and I've learned to be more tenacious and work harder to get the things I want and need, because I deserve them and I know what I'm worth. I've also learned that I didn't need to run three hundred miles from the things that were upsetting me--I had the power to change them all along and distance shouldn't have been an ingredient in the spell.
I've learned not to take too many aspirin because it will make you sick.
I've learned that even when I think I absolutely need a cigarette, I really don't need one.
I've learned that in a tight spot, cheddar cheese is not bad on toast.
I've learned that no matter where you go, there is one person in your workplace that is going to drive you crazy, and you probably shouldn't have been too hard on the people you knew back home, because they weren't nearly as annoying as you thought they were.
I'm slowly learning how to shade skintones and work with lighting. Next lesson: the lasso tool.
Most important: The words "I cannot do it" are completely useless and will never get anybody anywhere. The most important thing I've learned is that I can do things--everybody can do things. And whether it's getting a better job or starting your own company or keeping your house clean or just getting back home to the place that you didn't realize you loved so much, if you want it badly enough, you'll do what it takes to get what you want.
